Font downloads

To read some of the Gurmukhi articles, you will need to install the "Punjabi" font by Hardip Singh Pannu or the Akhar font for Gurmukhi. Click here to download the Punjabi font or here for the Akhar font now) . Once downloaded, copy the extracted font files into c:\windows\fonts directory.

Problems with Internet Explorer and old archived html files - IE puts arbitrary extra spaces in the middle of some words with some Punjabi fonts. The files are readable if the text is copied and pasted into Word or printed. There are no such problems with the Firefox browser.
